It will be recalled that in November 2009, Edu and Pinky split up when the former decided to take up the offer to run as a Vice Presidential candidate alongside administration bet, Gilbert “Gibo” Teodoro. October this year would have marked their sixth year as a couple, had they not parted ways.
But now, almost a year since they decided to call it quits, Edu and Pinky are back in each other’s arms. While as early as 2008, there had already been rumors of the couple wanting to tie the knot, wedding talks resurfaced when they got back together again—especially since tabloid and entertainment sites had reported seeing them leave for the States together. In fact, rumors had it that they had secretly tied the knot while in the U.S.
They had since returned about a week ago, but Pinky—who had filed a leave of absence from her shows on ABS-CBN and DZMM to join Edu—refused to respond to the issue.
Luis likewise told “The Buzz,” “Siguro naman, if lang… kung saka-sakaling totoo… eh ‘di I would be happy for my dad and Pinky.”
But he immediately added, “Pero I could honestly say at this point, I’m completely clueless kung may kasalan bang naganap. In terms of mga nakikita ko, on a day to day basis, kung may mga preparations—wala. If ever, kung ano man, it will come to me as a surprise rin siguro.”
Luis also shared, “’Di ko masyadong nakakasama si Pinky.” And realizing that he’s always called his father’s possible future wife by her first name, he pointed out, “Sabi nga niya ayaw niyang Tita Pinky ang tawag sa kanya…kaya Pinky—kina-klaro ko lang ‘yun, mas gusto niya Pinky.”
About her, Luis declared tellingly, “I’m sure she’s a very, very nice lady. Hindi siya ihaharap ng Daddy ko sa altar kung wala ‘yung mga katangian na hinahanap ng aking Daddy.”source: http://www.mb.com.ph/articles/276968/luis-edu-and-pinky-s-rumored-wedding-i-would-be-happy-them
